The officlal diagnosis after the X-Ray:
An oblique fracture in the proximal phalanx of the middle toe. There is no significant displacement.
No other bony lesion is noted. Small joints are in normal alignment.
Treatment: tape the two toes together for six weeks and walk on as normal.

ReplyDeleteHow long did it take for it to heal? I just broke my big toe last weekend and am wondering about how long until I'll be back. I'm currently in rehab for another injury, so taking four weeks off is really going to hurt me.
ReplyDeleteI also have an oblique fracture that isn't misaligned or anything; it's along the inside base of my toe.
